Telluride is now a glamorous Ski resort and my instincts were to shoot here in the winter
as my guide knew that lions were attracted by that smell (the local Masai and indeed colonialists have worn it for years)
Lying on the ground in the face of the sand storm is not the most comfortable of experiences - but it was necessary for the perspective
but luckily that was exactly the time I wanted to shoot in order to eliminate directional ambient light
