It is made of waterproof nubuck on the top and it is fleeced all the way down to the shoe, even on the insole. The insole is a thick EVA sole that can be removed. A bootie construction between the materials that makes the shoe 100% waterproof. Sorel's sizes have been somewhat small in previous seasons, now the size system has been updated so choose the size you normally have in shoes or boots.
